Finding a routine.

Finals week is officially over!

For the past two weeks, I have been holding my breath trying to successfully juggle study time, work and training. How I managed to do this is beyond me. But I am completely in bliss right now! Normally I would spend max 2-3 hours daily doing stretching exercises, with cardio workouts sprinkled throughout the week. For finals, I had to commit to stretching every other day instead; and cardio became an afterthought.

Results: I do not think I lost any significant amount of flexibility, although there is still some fallout from two weeks of body (and mental!) fatigue. I think it is mainly psychological. Nothing some fresh air and a Summer playlist cannot fix.

I am going to put more focus on back and shoulders for the rest of the month. I want a stronger back, and since strong back = strong core, I will be doing more core exercises during warm-ups.

Goal: Being able to do a full gymnastic bridge by the end of May!!! That's in fourteen days... bring it!
